The legend of Zelda series is one of the big franchises that Nintendo has their hands on. Probably a game series that doesn’t really have problems to speak of. I mean I suppose their are small things here and their ,but for the most part hasn’t really had any problems in terms of their games. I think anything anime related has had problems, but for the most part their games probably are not bad. Probably has one of the least amount of problems out of anything that’s been created in terms of video games. One of the most recent to the series is breath of the wild which was extremely good. Many reviewers probably gave it a 4 or more(out of 5.) Its certainly up their in terms of how it looks for me. The game plays really well,The storys good ,and almost nothing to complain about. The only things I could see is how it trails off somewhat for some fans compared to the previous games in terms of what makes zelda well you know zelda, or maybe minor glitches that this game has very little of from what I know about it compared to other games. Although while it might do that it does it extremely well as in its really good game you know. Besides speed running it honestly is really quick. About as quick as super metroid. Harder ,but about as quick. You can head to the final boss right as soon as you start a file. Its perfectly open to you. Your first time your not expected to do that as you start out with only 3 hearts. The final boss would be really annoying with that little hearts your first time. From my memory its an instant one shot. Where as later on when you have stuff it can still be a challange with 50% of everything. 100% of everything Its not that bad ,but The fight does feel very souls like if that says anything(obviously souls is known to have some difficult boss fights if you know anything about the series. Not saying he’s hard with 100% items ,but the design feels like that.)One of the easier ones ,but not enough to where hes a complete pushover(unless your up their some what as a speed runner if your not doing it with no hits or 3 hearts without anything very good its probably annoying if you get one shot obviously.)The fight is has multiple phases. Very open from the start of the game obviously. The final boss is pretty much the main antagonist of the series named Gannon. Although their are games where he doesn’t appear. Very few though. In most Zelda games you play as a character named link. Just about every game involves saving Zelda in some way(the series name sake.) Zelda is at basic the god of this world who is female. Normally she comes back probably by reincarnating in some way. She has various powers such as being able to see visions of the future. Link also goes through the same process ,but he is mortal really. Gannon either does too in some way. I thought Gannon was also mortal ,but coming from a different race than Links. I haven’t played or seen as much of this series like something like Metroid ,but I’ve seen something of practically every game on Youtube. I’ve played a few too. Not very many ,but I was planning on doing that at some point maybe. If you like puzzles its very good with that. Theirs a lot of lore to the series like Metroid as well as it being very Metroid like in the way it plays. Just set in a more of a medieval time where as Metroid is more of a futuristic sci-fi. Unlike Metroid the timeline of Zelda is probably a bit crazier. The first Zelda game ever made takes place later than a few other games in the timeline that were made after that game. Plus when I say crazy well it splits off at a certain point into 3 separate timelines having something to do with Link messing around with time. Zelda actually had something to do with it too. I guess we are pulling alternate timeline theory into this which is traveling through time in the way link did caused the timelines to split at basic. That’s kind of how things work in Zelda if you travel through time I guess. At least I’m pretty sure you have to apply alternate timeline theory to this. At any rate you get that What Zelda and link do cause this for some reason. The official timeline released by Nintendo shows that this happens. Their were a lot fans who questioned it ,but practically everyone accepted it. I mean I kind of understand you know. I mean the first zelda game came out in 1986 where as the first game in the timeline came out in 2012 almost. Just went on so long believing that this was the first game then all of sudden they make that timeline completely changing everything. The games themselves are not bad. The timeline itself may be questionable ,but how good the games are is completely separate. Here’s footage of the game that caused the timeline to split. Their are remakes of the game in case you don’t want to play with a nintendo 64 controller.
Its really hard to place breath of the wild in the timeline. I don’t even think Nintendo really knows yet(as far as theory’s go anyways.) They released a remake of a game that was on the original game boy recently. The games a remake of links awakening. The Zelda series is still going pretty strong. At times in the series hes also playable as either an adult or a child. I may play or watch it eventually. I don’t think I liked it as much some other Zelda games not that I think its bad. I mean nobody on Youtube I typically watch has done it from my memory. Not sure if I’d watch it even if they did. Although I might. Its not like this other game that I probably wouldn’t watch even if they did put something up anytime soon. I might after a few years maybe. links awakening I might watch though maybe I’m not sure though. Only if the people I watch do it though. I just wouldn’t go trying to look for footage of it on someone else’s channel. I would only do that with a game or series if I really wanted to. I’m a lot less prone to do something like that though now unlike when I really started watching people on Youtube. Kind of when I first started making videos on my Youtube Channels that I deleted For various things happening like my videos getting taken down. Had a couple 100 videos on this one too. All that work gone. Thats kind of why I keep back ups on my computer now. This is where my lifes gone in the last 4 years. Turned 21 a few months ago.
