Speedrunning

Speed running is something a gamer does. As the name probably suggest’s you go through a video game as fast as possible. Their are a lot of terms you’ll see speed runners’s use. Like the fact that you could just say going through a video game pretty fast most of these terms are very similar. Such as a personal best. A personal best is at basic a the best times for a video game you have ran or played through fast. Speed runs are timed ,and can get pretty competitive. I doubt It’s anything to like playing foot ball or something ,but it’s probably up their. I have done a few of these myself. While I guess it doesn’t really count if your not putting it up on a site like speedrun.com ,and with a timer. If it does I’ve done quite a few. I’m pretty sure that more or less it’s where people go to for that stuff. Their are certainly better runners out their I’m sure as I haven’t first placed anything, done the hardest runs(although I’ve done some,)and haven’t done too many runs probably. As I do more ,and more though I might be able to get their or just show persistence I think is the word for it. Like yuma tsukimo from Yugioh zexal. The hardest one’s I’ve done is 9% normal, and 9% easy for Metroid zero mission. My 9% normal run might not go up due to my computer not working if it can be fixed. The other one’s fine though. I’m surprised they spent the money to get me another one when they had the money not that I knew they could. At the very least it strains us for the month at least somewhat? I’m not fully aware of where the money goes to be honest not saying I’m supposed to know. I planned on doing a better one in about a year or 2 or just whenever I decide. Probably when I have more time,and feel comfortable in doing it. I don’t like making video when my mom and step-dad are around among other things. This is a video of my 9% easy run.

Of course I’d rather be doing more important things than speedrunning a video game dealing with mental problems as I go so my choices are more limited so what you gonna do in life. One of the more popular games to speedrun is a game in the same series called super metroid. nearly topping over a 1000 entries on speedrun.com on any% alone. My run is way down the list compared to metroid zero mission. I want to do better with this run too. While the route I took was rather easy for me I definitely could of taken a harder route. Really don’t want to do to much with speedrunning right now anyways. Here’s the video to that.

Speed running can be done as another way to get something out of a video game your really attached to. You could do it as a challenge. Their are terms like challenge run thrown around. You can choose to do it for any reason. Something to do you know. They throw events around that you could do to make money. Like I said they don’t do anything like they do with foot ball or something. They could do more I feel like ,but they don’t.
